The 1990s were a golden age for British television, with many classic TV shows bursting onto our screens for the first time during the decade.
With only four channels to tune into until 1997 when Channel 5 was launched, viewers weren’t exactly spoilt for choice in terms of prime-time viewing, so the chances are, whether you were an adult, a teen or a child in the 1990s you’ll remember some of these cult shows.
We’ve taken a trip down memory lane to look at some of the TV programmes which we absolutely loved and tuned in every week to watch; and taken a look at where the stars of these classic shows are now.
