If you’ve landed here it probably means that, like me, you were a child of the 1980s.
Ah, the 80s…. When hair was big, the fashion was questionable (come on now, shoulder pads? What were you thinking…) and the music was incredibly cheesy (Wham anybody?). What a time to be alive.
As a kid, you may have missed out on the trends which were popular among teens and adults thirty years ago, but you were lucky that the toys were totally awesome. Or at least they seemed like it at the time.

1.Lego
Everyone loves Lego! Standing on it, less so.
The 80s saw some amazing kits of Lego being released. Nowadays, the kits seem to full of special made-to-measure pieces of plastic (call that a challenge??) but back in the day, it was all about building it up brick by brick; it was an art.
My fondest memories are of the classic space Lego kits. You pay good money for these kits now; I suppose finding a complete kit is a rarity as there are probably still many pieces down the back of my parents’ sofa.
