Heard of Delhi belly? Well it travels as far as India’s coast too. There is pretty much cow shit everywhere, and areas outside of the luxury resorts are pretty deprived an overcrowded; you’ll see a lot of homeless people, as well as drug-addled western hippies desperately hanging onto the dream.
Far from being tasteful and luxurious, Goa is full of neon. There are wild dogs everywhere and if you’re unlucky, corrupt police trying to bust you for drugs.
